Jess is a dental hygienist and, more recently, a full-time RV homeschooling mom. She mostly did substitute dental hygiene work covering short-term absences at dental offices and also worked for the public health department helping families in high-need areas to find dental care. She took time off to stay home with their daughters for each of their first years and is now taking a longer break from the dental world to homeschool and travel in the RV.

Dave runs his own business that’s twofold, with both parts requiring travel. Dynamic Dent Repair is his main gig and it takes up most of the year. He does paintless dent repair which entails fixing hail damage, door dings, and large dents on vehicles and does subcontract work with body shops and other PDR technicians around Nebraska and Kansas.
Bareground sterilization is the other part of the business. For a few months out of the year, he and his dad spray ground sterilant for some local businesses and for a large gas company that has sites all across Nebraska, which also requires a lot of traveling.

They have two daughters: Payton - 7 and Quinn - 9 months, have been together for almost 15 years, and married for 9.

Dave’s business has kept him traveling for the past 7 years, and a lot of times he was only able to come home on the weekends. Being apart for so much time was difficult for the whole family over the years, so they recently decided to take the leap and move their family into the RV to be together while Dave travels for work. Jess started this blog to document their experiences being a fulltime RV family and to encourage others to let go of things and hold onto family.
